Josy Schönrang - Counselling Astrologer
Hello, I’m Josy — a fully trained astrologer and integrative counsellor dedicated to helping others rediscover their inner balance, purpose, and power. My journey into astrology began during a time of deep personal change — a period of rediscovery and reinvention that awakened something profound in me. What started as a personal exploration soon became a calling.
My approach blends traditional, psychological, and evolutionary astrology with a strong foundation in integrative counselling. I draw from a range of psychotherapeutic modalities including existentialism, psychodynamic theory, psychosynthesis, person-centred, and Gestalt therapy. Each session is a responsive and intuitive space — guided by the moment, grounded in the chart, and tailored to your emotional and soul-level needs.
I’ve studied formally with astrologer Graham Ibell and continue to deepen my practice through ongoing professional development with teachers such as Steven Forrest, Kelly Surtees, Demetra George, Frank Clifford, and many others whose wisdom have shaped and inspired my path.
To me, astrology is more than a system — it’s a mirror and a map. It reflects who we are at the deepest levels and points toward healing, growth, and greater alignment. The natal chart reveals the soul’s story, while transits illuminate our current thresholds — showing us where challenge, change, and transformation may be unfolding.
I do this work because I believe in the power of self-awareness to heal not just individuals, but the collective. We live in a world marked by disconnection and pain, often rooted in fear and control. But when we begin to live congruently — from a place of truth — we become less reactive, more compassionate, and more capable of holding space for one another.
My hope is to support you in shining your light more fully. Because when we live in alignment with our purpose, that joy ripples outward. And that, I believe, is how we create a more conscious, connected world — one soul at a time.
